Giving Your Real Dreads a Detox? Use an Inflatable Shampoo Basin!

Giving Your Real Dreads a Detox? Use an Inflatable Shampoo Basin!

Over time, dirt, impurities and product residue will build up inside your Dreadlocks. Even if you wash your Dreadlocks regularly, this is unavoidable.

We recommend that you only do a detox when your Dreadlocks are at least one year old. A detox is an intensive treatment for your dreads and when your dreads are mature they can handle this better.

An inflatable Shampoo Basin, ideal to use

With a Dreadlock Detox, your Dreadlocks have to soak for a while in water with a cleansing bomb or cleansing powder and then in apple cider vinegar. It is not very comfortable if you end up in an awkward position. That is why an inflatable Shampoo Basin is ideal!

The basin is easy to inflate and deflate, allowing you to store it compactly when not in use.

The basin contains a drain pipe at the bottom so that you can easily clean and empty the basin.

The basin sizes are 3 inch x 20 inch x 8 inch / 60cm x 50cm x 20cm when fully inflated.

Brown or gray water after a detox?

An additional advantage of an inflatable Shampoo Basin is that you can clearly see whether the water is dirty or whether it is not that bad.

Did you see if the water was a bit browner/grey? Then your Dreadlocks really needed a detox!

Do your Dreadlocks feel dry after the detox treatment? Then choose a conditioning or hydrating oil to take good care of your Dreads.

Have fun with your clean Dreads!
